Every football team that takes part in the Premier League has a crest or a strip which can be used to distinguish one team from another, as each crest that is created through each team is unique to one another. The crest that has been used on the team for the first decades included a dark blue uniform, until five years later when the uniforms were changed to resemble white and red stripes. Black shorts are worn with the uniform while at home, and white shorts are worn with the uniform in the case the team is away from their home stadium.
